Motherhood, especially when raising neurodivergent children, rarely looks polished or predictable. Our days are layered with sensory needs, emotional regulation, shifting routines, and the constant work of helping small humans navigate a world that can feel overwhelming.

There is beauty in it, but it is rarely neat.

In many ways, sewing mirrors this.

A garment starts simple — just pieces of fabric and a pattern. But it becomes something special through the small choices we make along the way: a row of hand stitching, a patch placed carefully over a worn knee, a piece of embroidery that tells a quiet story.
